The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the class 12 results at 1 pm on Monday.This year, 13,37,114 students appeared for the examinations which were conducted between February 20 to March 26. The students can visit the official website of Maharashtra Education Board mahresult nic in to access their results. Candidates can also check their results on Jagran Josh , jagranjosh com. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education result 2014 can also be availed through SMS. Students need to send an SMS -- MHHSC <Seat No> to 57766 -- from BSNL mobile.
Last year, the Maharashtra Board class 12 examination were conducted between February 21 and March 25 at different centers in nine districts of Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amaravati, Nasik, Latur and Konkan. s per updated data, around 14, 99,276 students appeared in the MSBSHSE HSC 12th examinations last year, out of which 12,51,528 passed the examination successfully which included 6,69,005 boys and 5,90,523 girls. Girls outshined boys by 2.66 percent. In terms of gender wise pass percentage, girls remained ahead of boys with 84.90 pass percent compared to boys with 82.24%.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune 411004 is an autonomous body established under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri.
The board conducts examination twice a year and the number of students appearing for the main examination is around 14 lakhs for HSC and 17 lakhs for SSC. There are about 21,000 SSC schools and 7,000 HSC schools in the entire state.
