THE LATEST LAUNCH OF ARMAAN JAIN,GRANDSON OF RAJ KAPOOR IN LEKAR HUM DIWANA DIL..

Bloodline matters in Bollywood. So, it's hardly a surprise that the launch of the latest industry scion is seeing an overwhelming welcome from the bigwigs.

No sooner did the promos of the upcoming teenybopper flick Lekar Hum Deewana Dil start doing the rounds, several Bollywood celebs went overboard praising its debutant hero Armaan Jain, the grandson of the late legendary Raj Kapoor. Armaan is the son of Raj Kapoor's younger daughter Reema Jain.

Among those who have been gushing about Armaan are Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Both superstars seem to be in a liberal mood to play godfather to Armaan. They have taken to a social networking site to tweet praises about Armaan and his launch vehicle.

Among those who have been gushing about Armaan are Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

" Another family member into film fold - Armaan in Lekar Hum Diwana Dil... all good wishes... Looking good!! Watch Utube! ( sic)" tweeted Amitabh Bachchan.

Armaan has a family connection with the Bachchans. Big B's daughter Shweta is married to Armaan's first cousin Nikhil Nanda, the son of Raj Kapoor's elder daughter Ritu Nanda.

Shah Rukh, too, has been lavishly praising the budding actor. " Just saw Armaan's Lekar Hum Deewana Dil trailer... my little football partner ( Armaan) looks gorgeous in the film. Allah bless u & the film ( sic)," tweeted SRK. Armaan had worked as an assistant director to Karan Johar in the SRK- starrer My Name Is Khan. On the set, SRK, his son Aryan and Armaan used to play football.

Last week, several from Bollywood's young brigade including Deepika PadukoneVarun DhawanAlia Bhatt, Diana Penty and Abhishek Bachchan reached out to tweet about Armaan and his film.

Lekar Hum Deewana Dil also marks the directorial debut of Arif Ali, Imitiaz Ali's brother, though no one seems quite in the mood to encourage the greenhorn film- maker.

Bollywood has, in fact, so far also seemed disinterested in promoting Deeksha Seth, a former Miss India with no bloodline who makes her debut opposite Armaan in the film.

The film is co- produced under Saif Ali Khan's banner Illuminati Films and Eros International, and sees the return of A. R. Rahman as composer. The Saif connection is easy to understand. His wife Kareena is Armaan's first cousin.

Ranbir Kapoor, Armaan's other cousin who has impressively made his mark as an actor and superstar, reportedly plans to help the budding actor during the promotion of his film, which is slated for a release on July 4.
