The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2014 is to be held on May 11, 2014. But for law aspirants, whether you want to join an undergraduate law course (LLB) or a postgraduate law course (LLM) the process of admission to your desired Institute will begin after May 11, 2014.
Here are all the important dates for CLAT 2014; from the date admit cards are available till the last date of admissions.
1. Accessibility of admit cards/hall tickets by: April 14, 2014
2. Date of Common Law Admission Test - 2014: May 11, 2014
3. Date of declaration of results: May 31, 2014
4. Commencement of counseling period for first 2500 candidates: June 1, 2014
5. Last date for the counseling period and fee deposit with CLAT office for first 2500 candidates in the merit list: June 9, 2014
6. Last date for exercising the option to remain in the admission process for first 2500 candidates in the merit list: June 9, 2014
7. Publication of provisional allotment list of candidates allotted to various universities against the actual seats and waiting list: June 11, 2014
8. Last Date for exercising the option to remain with the allotted university/admission process by the candidates in the provisional allotment list: June 13, 2014
9. Publication of first subsidiary list of candidates allotted to various universities against the actual left out seats: June 14, 2014
10. Last date for exercising the option to remain with the allotted university/admission process by the candidates in the first subsidiary list: June 16, 2014
11. Publication of second subsidiary list of candidates allotted to various Uuniversities against the actual left out seats: June 17, 2014
12. Last date for exercising the option to remain with the allotted university/admission process by the candidates in the second subsidiary list: June 19, 2014
13. Publication of third subsidiary list of candidates allotted to various universities against the actual left out seats: June 20, 2014
14. Last date for exercising the option to remain with the allotted university/admission process by the candidates in the third subsidiary list: June 21, 2014
15. Publication of fourth subsidiary list of candidates allotted to various universities against the actual left out seats: June 22, 2014
16. Last date for exercising the option to remain with the allotted university by the candidates in the fourth subsidiary list: June 23, 2014
17. Completion of admission formalities at the university level by submitting required certificates/documents by the candidates admitted against the provisional allotment list and 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th subsidiary lists by depositing fees: June 24, 2014 to June 27, 2014
18. Submission of detailed report by the member universities to the CLAT Convener: June 28, 2014
19. Announcement of final list of admitted candidates: June 30, 2014
20. Closure of admission process by CLAT Office: June 30, 2014
About CLAT
Launched in 2008, CLAT centralizes the Law School admission process and is conducted by the 14 participating Institutes/Universities in rotation. CLAT 2014 is being organised by Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) will take place on May 11 2014. Eligibility for CLAT depends upon whether you are interested in applying for the LLB (undergraduate) course or the LLM (postgraduate) course.
