Singh Is Bling reunites Akshay and Katrina who starred in the 2008 hit Singh Is Kinng, 2007'sNamastey London and 2010 flop Tees Maar Khan, memorable only for Katrina's Sheila Ki Jawani number. The new movie, directed by Prabhu Deva, is not a sequel to Singh Is Kinng despite the similarity in names.

The first look of Singh Is Bling, starring hit jodi Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, was revealed in Mumbai on April 27 and stars the Khiladi actor as a turbanned Sikh brandishing a gun, a dollar sign around his neck. As the title suggests, there's a lot of bling from Akshay's glittering turban and gold gun.

Akshay Kumar made a million hearts skip a beat in 'Singh is King'. He looked dashing, macho and irresistibly hot in a turban and is back as Singh yet again in Prabhudheva's 'Singh is Bling'.

Akki and Prabhu had teamed up earlier for 'Rowdy Rathore'. The film turned out to be a massive hit. And 'Singh is Bling' may outshine their previous venture, if the benchmark set by this lethal duo is anything to go by.

The actor shared the first look of the film on his Facebook page.

After their successful venture 'Rowdy Rathore', south Indian filmmaker Prabhu Dheva is teeming up with actor Akshay Kumar for their upcoming venture, 'Singh is Bling'. Kumar had earlier portrayed the role of a turban-clad sardar in the 2008 film, 'Singh is Kinng'. The film posters were unveiled last night and today morning on the official Facebook page of Grazing Goat Pictures, Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi's production house. They also announced that the film was slated to release on July 31, 2015..
